Integrated Listening Systems (iLs)

After searching for the best evidence-based modalities affecting cognitive function and brain performance, we selected the iLs program as a perfect complement and fit with LaPorte NeuroTherapy. Its success can be attributed to improved brain and body organization and function by uniquely providing input to multiple senses at the same time. Research indicates that the more input brain cells receive, the better their organization and functioning. In other words, brain cells can process more information faster. Specific, simultaneous and repeated sensory stimulation gradually trains the brain to process and respond to multi-sensory input from the environment more effectively.

Clinical research supports real success using iLs because it increases the brain’s capacity to efficiently process, organize and make sense of incoming information. The iLs program structure follows well-established protocols for improved outcomes.

iLs is proven most beneficial to individuals who demonstrate delays and/or difficulties in any of the following areas:

  • Concentration/Attention (ADHD/ADD)

  • PTSD, Trauma, and TBI

  • Speech/Language & Written Expression & Reading Comprehension

  • Behavior, Addictions, Mood Disorders & Anxiety

  • Insomnia & Sleep Disorders

  • Motor Skills, Processing Speed & Sensory Processing

Your individualized, customized plan, based on your complete assessment, may include Multi-Sensory Integration for more effective and efficient brain performance. For more information about iLs and its impressive research, visit www.integratedlistening.com.
